HJD5 stands for Hedrick, Jacobs, Denney the original 5 of us: Steve Hedrick, Debbie Hedrick (me), Phillip Jacobs, Rusty Denney & Amanda Denney.
Five and a half years ago when we bought the farm Rusty was already in the Army and Amanda went in the fall of that year. So in honor of Rusty and Amanda we call our place Freedom Hill home to HJD5.
A lot had happened in those short years. Our grandson Hunter was born and he just started Kindergarten this year. Rusty got out of the Army and moved to Florida and found his love Ruthie who has a son Travis. They are back in Texas and have given us a beautiful grand-daughter Lexi Lei this summer. Amanda was stationed in Korea where she married an Army Man. They have since moved back to the states, but not before our first grand-daughter was born in Korea: Haylee Shay. Now Amanda is due any day with our third grand-daughter Callie Jayne.
So as our little 5 keeps on growing Steve and I are loving these new rolls in our lives.
