Welcome to our home. Steve and I had long dreamed of our place in the country and 5 years ago we found our 12 1/2 acre heaven. It included an 100 year old farmhouse with numerous out buildings and an old barn. Steve and I jumped in with both feet and hands and started clearing the out buildings and started working on the old barn to house at first some goats and then we finished it out with four stalls for some horses.
We also started working on taking the house as far back to original as possible. We love this old house and we will forever be working on it, but that is OK. It keeps us out of trouble that way.
2008 has been a really crazy year! Worked on the house just a little, but that's OK because there will always be something to do there. We started going to some play days this year and Steve is really getting the hang of it all. As for me WELL after my last little accident (last OCT) I am kind of scared, but I am working hard on that as well. I have huge hopes for the 2009 season that Steve and I both will be riding in the play days and get to go on some Trail Rides also.
